Guiscard is a French commune with 1,803 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Noyon (until 2015: canton of Guiscard ) and to the municipal association Pays Noyonnais .

geography

Guiscard is located in the Pays Noyonnais 30 kilometers north-northeast of Compiègne on the River Verse . Guiscard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Esmery-Hallon , Flavy-le-Meldeux , Le Plessis-Patte-d'Oie and Berlancourt in the north, Villeselve in the northeast, Guivry in the east, Beaugies-sous-Bois in the southeast, Maucourt and Quesmy in the south , Crisolles in the south-west, Muirancourt in the west and south-west and Fréniches in the west and north-west.

The former route nationale 32 (today's D932) runs through the municipality .
