Francières is a French municipality with 547 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement Compiègne and is part of the canton Estrées-Saint-Denis .

geography

Francières is about twelve kilometers west-northwest of Compiègne . Francières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rouvillers in the north and west, Hémévillers in the north, Montmartin in the north-east, Remy in the south and east and Estrées-Saint-Denis in the south and south-west.

On the western edge of the municipality, the former Route nationale 17 (today's D1017) and on the eastern edge the Autoroute A1 .
