Pimprez is a French municipality with 868 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement Compiègne and the canton Thourotte (until 2015: canton Ribécourt-Dreslincourt ).
geography
Pimprez lies on the Canal latéral à l'Oise ('Oise Lateral Canal') and on the river Oise , which forms the eastern municipal boundary. Pimprez is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chiry-Ourscamp in the north and east, Bailly in the south-east, Saint-Léger-aux-Bois in the south, Montmacq in the south-west and Ribécourt-Dreslincourt in the west.
