Mareuil-la-Motte is a French municipality with 641 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Compiègne and the canton of Thourotte (until 2015 Lassigny ).

Mareuil-la-Motte is about 19 kilometers north-north-west of Compiègne . Mareuil-la-Motte is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gury in the north, Plessis-de-Roye in the north and northeast, Thiescourt in the east, Élincourt-Sainte-Marguerite in the south and southeast, Margny-sur-Matz in the south and southwest and Ricquebourg in the West.
