Fresnières is a French municipality with 164 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Compiègne and the canton of Thourotte (until 2015 Lassigny ).

Fresnières is located about 22 kilometers north-northeast of Compiègne . Fresnières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crapeaumesnil in the north, Amy in the east and northeast, Lassigny in the southeast, Canny-sur-Matz in the south and Beuvraignes in the west and northwest.
