Caisnes is located in the Pays Noyonnais about 30 kilometers northeast of Compiègne . Caisnes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pontoise-lès-Noyon in the north and northwest, Varesnes in the north and northeast, Cuts in the east and northeast, Nampcel in the south and east and Carlepont in the west.
