Amy is a French municipality with 392 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Compiègne and the canton of Thourotte (until 2015 Lassigny ). The inhabitants are called Amédéens .

Amy is about 35 kilometers north of Compiègne . Amy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Verpillières in the north, Avricourt in the east, Candor in the southeast, Lassigny in the south, Fresnières in the southwest, Crapeaumesnil in the west and Beuvraignes in the west and northwest.
