history

Finds show a Gallo-Roman settlement. Since the 13th century, the place belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Éloi in Noyon . After the French Revolution , a castle was built in Loges. In 1879 Beuvraignes received a rail connection to the now dismantled rail line (LGV Nord has no stop).

During the First World War , the place was reduced to rubble and ashes in 1915. The reconstruction took ten years. The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
