Mesnil-Saint-Georges ( Picard : Mini-Saint-Georges) is a northern French municipality with 188 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier and belongs to the canton of Roye .

geography

The municipality on the border with the Oise department is about 3.5 km west of Montdidier and immediately adjacent to it on the D930 departmental road (former Route nationale 30 ).

history

The municipality, which was completely destroyed in the First World War , was awarded the Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
