The Saint-Martin church

Rouvrel ( Picard : rouvre) is a northern French municipality with 306 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier , is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Noye and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

geography

The municipality is located north of the D920 département road (formerly Route nationale 320 ) from Ailly-sur-Noye to Moreuil on the D134 département road around 4 km east-northeast of the immediately adjacent Ailly-sur-Noye and 6 km west of Moreuil.

history

Rovrel was significantly destroyed in the First World War. The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
