Fransures ( Picard : Franseu) is a northern French municipality with 133 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier , is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Noye and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

geography

Most of the municipality is located west of the A16 autoroute on the D109 département road on the border with the Oise department . In the east, the community extends beyond Départementstrasse D1001 (former Route nationale 16 ).

history

Fransures church and castle were destroyed in the Jacquerie peasant uprising .
