Marestmontiers ( Picard : Marémontié) is a northern French municipality with 113 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier and belongs to the canton of Roye .

geography

The municipality is located in the Santerre countryside on the left (western) bank of the Trois Cathedral opposite Gratibus on the D155 departmental road. The municipality, to which the hamlet of Montauvillers and the farmstead Ferme de l'Alval belong, is located around 8 km north-northwest of Montdidier .

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
