Esclainvillers ( Picard : Éclainvilé) is a northern French municipality with 167 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier , is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Noye and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

geography

The municipality, which extends in the west to the D14 department road, is located on the D188 department road around 12 km southwest of Moreuil and 9 km south-southeast of Ailly-sur-Noye .

history

Esclainvillers is called 1105. A priory had existed since 1209. The hamlet of Saint-Martin and its chapel were destroyed in the 17th century.
