Jumel ( Picard : Jumel) is a northern French municipality with 518 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier , is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Noye and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

The municipality lies on the other side of the Noye at Ailly-sur-Noye, bordering the D920 (formerly Route nationale 320 ) to the west , from which, after crossing the Noye, the D7 (which partly follows a road in the system of the Chaussée Brunehaut to Amiens) ) and branch off D162.
