Davenescourt ( Picard : Davnécourt) is a northern French municipality with 563 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier and belongs to the canton of Roye .

geography

The municipality is located in the Santerre countryside for the most part on the right (north) bank of the Avre and at the intersection of the D41 and D160 département roads, around 9.5 km north of Montdidier .

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
