Mailly-Raineval ( Picard : Mailleu-Rainevo) is a northern French municipality with 299 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier , is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Noye and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

geography

The municipality is located around 4.5 km southwest of Moreuil and is crossed by the D14 department road. The municipality extends in the east to the edge of the marshy valley of the Avre .

history

The lordship of Raineval was elevated to a county in 1744.

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
