Fontaine-sous-Montdidier ( Picard : Fontainne-DSOU-Montdidji) is a northern French municipality with 108 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier and belongs to the canton of Roye .

geography

The community extends in the east from the heights on the right bank of the Trois Cathedral over this river far to the west. In the valley of the Trois Doms, the municipal area is cut through by the railway line from Amiens to Montdidier . The eponymous community center is not far from the D26 département road from Montdidier to Ailly-sur-Noye . Fontaine includes the hamlet of Framicourt on the edge of the Trois Doms valley and the isolated farms of La Sole and Belle Assise to the west. In the south, the community extends beyond the D930 département road (former Route nationale 30 ).
