Ed V. Mead

Edward "Ed" V. Mead (* 1921 , † 1983 ) was an American politician . Between 1959 and 1960 he served as lieutenant governor in the state of New Mexico . Politically, he belonged to the Democratic Party . He served in the New Mexico Senate from 1971 to 1972 , where he represented the 35th District of New Mexico. After his death in 1983, he was buried in the Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque , Bernalillo County .
