Louis C. de Baca

Louis Cabeza de Baca (born December 29, 1894March 29, 1969 ) was an American politician . Between 1935 and 1937 he was lieutenant governor of the state of New Mexico .

There are hardly any usable sources about Louis de Baca. It is very likely that he came from the De Baca family known in New Mexico, which also included Governor Ezequiel Cabeza de Baca . It is certain that he lived at least temporarily in New Mexico and belonged to the Democratic Party . In 1934 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico. He held this office between January 1, 1935 and January 1, 1937. He was Deputy to Governor Clyde Tingley and Chairman of the State Senate . After his time as Lieutenant Governor, his track is lost again.
