Sempigny is a French municipality with 789 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Noyon and the municipality association Pays Noyonnais .

geography

Sempigny is located in the Pays Noyonnais about 23 kilometers northeast of Compiègne on the Oise and on the Canal latéral à l'Oise . This is also where the Verse river flows into the Oise. Sempigny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pont-l'Évêque in the north and north-west, Noyon in the north and east, Pontoise-lès-Noyon in the south-east, Carlepont in the south, Chiry-Ourscamp in the south and south-west and Passel in the west and south-west.
