Baugy is a French municipality with 241 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Compiègne and the canton Estrées-Saint-Denis (until 2015 Ressons-sur-Matz ).

Baugy is about seven kilometers northwest of Compiègne . Baugy is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Monchy-Humiéres in the north and northwest, Braisnes-sur-Aronde in the northeast, Coudun in the east, Margny-lès-Compiègne in the southeast, Lachelle in the south and Remy in the west and southwest.
