Esmery-Hallon ( Picard Inmery-Hallon ) is a French municipality with 594 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France in northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton of Ham and is part of the Est de la Somme municipal association .

geography

The municipality is located in the southwest of Ham, separated from Eppeville by the Allemagne brook . The municipality is touched in the north by the D930 département road ; the D186 crosses the municipality. On the eastern edge of the municipality are the Ferme du Bois-Bonneuil, Gut Bonneuil, Ferme de Bonneuil and the castle and estate La Folie.

history

Since the 16th century the pottery was operated in Esmery-Hallon; Sand and clay came from the hamlet of Hallon. Esmery-Hallon, which was partially destroyed in World War I , was awarded the Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
