Buire-Courcelles ( Picard : Buire-Courchelle) is a French municipality with 234 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France in northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton of Péronne and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Haute Somme .

geography

Buire-Courcelles is located east of Péronne on the D199 department road and north of the Cologne river . The municipality consists of the two clearly separated parts of the municipality Buire and Courcelles (west of Buire). The railway line from Péronne to Roisel has been dismantled.

history

Buire Castle, built in 1748, no longer exists.

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
