Herleville (Picard: Harville) is a northern French municipality with 183 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Ham and is part of the Communauté de communes Terre de Picardie .

geography

The municipality is located in Santerre about 7 km northwest of Chaulnes and 16 km west of Péronne mostly in the north of the A29 autoroute ; the municipality is cut through to the north by the D1029 département road, which forms part of the system of the Chaussée Brunehaut .

history

The community was destroyed in both world wars. She received the Croix de guerre 1914–1918 as an award .
