Pargny is a French municipality with 205 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France in northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton of Ham and is part of the Est de la Somme municipal association .

geography

The municipality is located on the west bank of the canalized Somme and on the departmental roads D62 and D103, with which it is connected via a bridge to Falvy, on the opposite bank of the Somme .

history

The community, in which there is a military cemetery for soldiers from the British Empire, received the Croix de guerre 1914–1918 as an award .
