Ronssoy (Picard: Roncheu) is a French municipality with 121 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France in northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton of Péronne .

geography

Ronssoy is the easternmost municipality in the Somme department. It is located on the D58 departmental road, which is part of the Chaussée Brunehaut system , on the border with the Aisne department (municipality of Lempire ). The A26 autoroute runs through the eastern part of the municipality.

history

The municipality, which was the last in the area of ​​the department to come under French control again during the First World War , was awarded the Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
