Saint-Christ-Briost ( Picard Saint-Cri-Briou ) is a French municipality with 437 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France in northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton of Ham and is part of the Est de la Somme municipal association .

geography

The municipality is located on the D45 departmental road north of the A29 autoroute, east of the Somme and Canal de la Somme (Saint-Christ district) and west of the Somme (Briost district). The Omignon summer tributary , which flows a little below at Brie, also crosses the town. The railway line from Saint-Just-en-Chaussée to Douai via Chaulnes and Péronne touches the northern edge of Briost, which is no longer used for passenger traffic .
