Moyencourt ( Picard : Moyincourt) is a northern French municipality with 317 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Péronne , belongs to the canton of Ham and is part of the Est de la Somme municipality .

geography

Moyencourt is located around 5 km southeast of Nesle on the D154 departmental road and on two small tributaries of the Petit Ingon , the Arriveau and the Rivière Bleue. The Canal du Nord runs east already outside the municipality.

history

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
