Moyencourt-lès-Poix ( Picard : Moéyincourt-lès-Poé ) is a northern French municipality with 181 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest and belongs to the canton of Poix-de-Picardie .

geography

The municipality is located around 24 km southwest of Amiens between Poix-de-Picardie and Courcelles-sous-Moyencourt . It is crossed by the D1029 departmental road, extends in the northwest to the A29 autoroute and in the east beyond the railway line from Amiens to Rouen . The hamlet of Ménesvillers (Picardy: Ménevilèr) in the east belongs to Moyencourt.
