La Chaussee-Tirancourt ( Picard : L'Cœuchie-Tinincourt ) is a northern French municipality with 659 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté de communes Nièvre et Somme and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Somme .
geography
La Chaussée-Tirancourt is located between Belloy-sur-Somme and Saint-Sauveur (Somme) on the right (north) bank of the Somme , whose valley is interspersed with ponds, opposite Picquigny , on the former Route nationale 35 . To the north, the municipality extends to the A16 autoroute . The border to the northeastern adjoining Saint-Vaast-en-Chaussée is very irregular. The district of Tirancourt is to the east of the community center.
