Cannessières ( Picard : Tchènessière ) is a northern French municipality with 70 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Somme department in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens (since 2009) and is part of the Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest and the canton of Poix-de-Picardie .

geography

The community on a ridge is located immediately south of the Oisemont, about two kilometers to the north, on the Vimeu plateau . The municipality is crossed by several dry valleys.

history

The place was burned down in the Hundred Years War . In the Middle Ages, the place was under the rulers of Rambures .
