Vimeu is the name of a landscape in the west of Picardy in France , which is bordered by the Bresle in the south and the Somme in the north. It is an extensive chalk plateau at a height of 100 to 170 meters, slightly undulating and on a slope from southeast to northwest, and with long and deep dry valleys.
