Belloy-sur-Somme ( Dutch : Berken ) is a northern French municipality with 752 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté de communes Nièvre et Somme and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Somme .

geography

Belloy is located between Yzeux and La Chaussée-Tirancourt on the right (northern) bank of the Somme , whose valley is interspersed with ponds, around three kilometers north of Picquigny . The municipality is crossed by the former Route nationale 35 . To the north, the municipality extends to the section of the historic Chaussée Brunehaut , which starts in Amiens and leads to Ponches-Estruval on the Authie .
