Quevauvillers ( Picard : Gueuvilé ) is a northern French municipality with 1102 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Somme .
geography
Quevauvillers is about 9.5 km northeast of Poix-de-Picardie and nine km south-southeast of Molliens-Dreuil . The A29 autoroute runs in the northern municipality . The municipality is determined by the railway line from Amiens to Rouen operated; Namps-Quevauvillers train station is in the neighboring municipality of Namps-Maisnil . The Henneville homestead belongs to the community.

In Roman times the equestrian station Equitum villa stood here on the road from Amiens (Samarobriva) to Rouen (Rotomagus).
