Saint Martin Church

Thézy-Glimont ( Picard : Tezin-Glimont) is a northern French municipality with 662 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté d'agglomération Amiens Métropole and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

geography

The community lies on the right (north) bank of the Avre below the mouth of the Luce and is connected to Hailles by a bridge . The distance to Boves is around five kilometers. The railway line from Amiens to Montdidier runs through the village with a stop.

history

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
