Saint Martin Church

Inval-Boiron ( Picard : Invo-Ch'Boron ) is a northern French municipality with 113 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens (since 2009) and is part of the Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest and the canton of Poix-de-Picardie .

geography

The municipality is located in the west of Le Mazis, bordering on both sides of the Liger river, around 13 kilometers west-northwest of Hornoy-le-Bourg and ten kilometers south of Oisemont .

history

The community was named Juval in 1793 and Inval et Boiron in 1801. During the Second World War , the Wehrmacht built ammunition depots where bats now nest.
