Estrées-sur-Noye ( Picard etree-su-noee) is a northern French municipality with 270 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté d'agglomération Amiens Métropole and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

The municipality is located around five kilometers northwest of Ailly on the plateau between the Noye and Selle rivers south of the departmental capital Amiens . The distance to the city center of Amiens is around 14 kilometers.
Toponymy and History
The name of the municipality is derived from the Latin term strata, which refers to the old Chaussée Brunehaut .
