In the singles Meghann Shaughnessy won against Francesca Schiavone with 6: 1 and 6: 1. In doubles, the pairing Tathiana Garbin / Émilie Loit won 6: 3, 3: 6 and 6: 4 against Dája Bedáňová / Dinara Safina .
