Yevgenija Borissowna Kulikovskaya ( Russian Евгения Борисовна Куликовская , English spelling Evgenia Kulikovskaya ; born December 21, 1978 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian tennis player .

Career

Kulikovskaya won four double titles on the WTA Tour in her career . There were also nine singles and twelve doubles titles at ITF tournaments. In 1997 she played for the Russian Fed Cup team for the first time , her second and last Fed Cup game took place the following year.

Her best performance in a Grand Slam tournament was achieved in 2002 at the US Open , when she reached the second round in a double competition. In the individual, she was in round two a total of three times.

What was noticeable about her game was that she did not play backhand. She changed hands; Depending on which side the ball came on, she always played a forehand.
