The Russian Fed Cup team is the national tennis team of Russia used in the Fed Cup . The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup) is the most important national competition in women's tennis, analogous to the Davis Cup for men.
history
Russia first took part in the Fed Cup in 1968 as the Soviet Union . The team celebrated title wins in 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008.
