The Indian Fed Cup team is the national tennis team of India used in the Fed Cup . The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, analogous to the Davis Cup for men.
history
India took part in the Fed Cup for the first time in 1991. The greatest success so far was reaching 2nd place in Group I Asia-Oceania in 2006.
