Rushmi Chakravarthi (born October 9, 1977 in Hyderabad ) is a former Indian tennis player .

Career

Chakravarthi has already won eleven singles and 34 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit . At the Commonwealth Games in 2010, she won the bronze medal in doubles alongside Sania Mirza . The ITF also gave her a wildcard for the 2012 London Olympics . With Sania Mirza, however, she was eliminated in the doubles competition in the first round.

She has played for the Indian Fed Cup team since 1994 ; their Fed Cup record shows 14 wins out of 18 losses. She played her last international game in June 2017.
