The Italian Fed Cup team is the national team of Italy used in the Fed Cup . The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup) is the major national competition in women's tennis , analogous to the Davis Cup for men.

history

Italy first took part in the Fed Cup in 1963. Italy is one of only four countries that have participated in all of the Fed Cup championships. Italy won the Fed Cup in 2006, 2009 , 2010 and 2013 .
