Flora Perfetti (born January 29, 1969 ) is a former Italian tennis player .

Career

Perfetti began playing tennis at the age of six, and when she was nine, her father signed up for training. At the age of 16, Perfetti won her first Italian team title with the CA Faenza . At the age of 21, she won her first cash tournament, the $ 10,000 tournament in Riccione , where she defeated Ginevra Mugnaini in the final.

In 1994 and 1996 she won two doubles titles and one singles title at the ITF Women's Circuit in 2000. In October 2000 she played her last professional tournament for the time being, before she played doubles again with Giulia Gasparri in Imola in July 2008 , where the duo lost in the first round.

She has won 193 singles, 73 doubles, and a total of $ 425,684 in prize money during her career. On April 27, 1997 she reached her highest ranking in the single world ranking list with position 54 and on March 17 of the same year position 71 in the double world ranking list.

1997 and 1998 she played in the Fed Cup in the Italian Fed Cup team . In 1997, together with Silvia Farina Elia , Gloria Pizzichini and Francesca Lubiani, she was promoted back to the world group.

After her career she works as a trainer at CA Faenza. From 2009 to 2011 she took part in several ITF senior tournaments and on November 1, 2010 she was ranked 33rd in the ITF over 40s ranking.
