Camilla Rosatello (born May 28, 1995 in Saluzzo ) is an Italian tennis player .

Career

Moratelli started playing tennis at the age of five and prefers carpet courts. She mainly plays on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won 23 doubles titles so far.

Moratelli played her first professional tennis tournament in June 2010 in Padova . She won her first title in doubles in 2011 alongside Benedetta Davato . In 2012 she played on the Juniors Tour, among other things, all the junior competitions of the four Grand Slam tournaments . She reached the round of 16 at the junior women competition of the Australian Open 2012 , where she was defeated by Barbora Krejčíková with 2: 6 and 3: 6. In the same year she made her debut on the WTA Tour with a wildcard for qualification for the Italiacom Open . But she was already defeated by Vanda Lukács in the first round with 5: 7 and 5: 7.

In 2013 she won four more titles on the ITF Tour in doubles and reached a final in singles. On the WTA Tour she received a wildcard for the qualification for the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open , where she lost 2: 6 and 2: 6 to her compatriot Camila Giorgi in the first round . In 2014 Rosatello won two ITF titles in doubles and again reached a final in singles. In 2015 she won six ITF doubles titles, including the first $ 25,000 tournament in Casablanca in November . In 2016 she won two $ 25,000 doubles tournaments, reaching the singles final in Saint-Malo .

In 2017, Camilla Rosatello won four doubles titles, including the $ 60,000 boso Ladies Open Hechingen 2017 . In singles she reached the semi-finals at the ITF tournament in Prague , which she lost to Karolína Muchová with 2: 6 and 2: 6. On the WTA Tour she came into the main draw in doubles for the first time at the Ladies Championship Gstaad 2017 with her partner Diāna Marcinkēviča . However, they were already defeated in the first round by the top seeded pairing Kiki Bertens and Johanna Larsson , who then won the tournament. In the individual, she started in the qualification , where she was defeated by Anna Kalinskaja in the first round . At the US Open 2017 she was able to start in the qualification for the first time , won her first round match against Aryna Sabalenka in three sets, but then failed clearly in two sets against Danielle Lao . At the Coupe Banque Nationale 2017 , she also started in the individual qualification , but was already defeated in the first round by Charlotte Robillard-Millette . In doubles, she reached the semi-finals on the WTA tour for the first time with her partner María Irigoyen . They were defeated there by Bianca Andreescu and Carson Branstine 6: 7, 6 and 4: 6.

Rosatello was nominated for the Italian Fed Cup team for the first time in 2017. She played a double in a 3-1 win against the Taiwanese team in April 2017 in Barletts, where she and her partner Jasmine Paolini lost to the doubles Chuang Chia-jung and Hsu Ching-wen with 4-6 and 4-6 in straight sets.

In 2015 she competed in the German 2nd tennis Bundesliga for the LTTC Rot-Weiß Berlin .
