Danielle Lao (born May 28, 1991 ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Danielle Lao mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won two singles and three doubles titles so far.

At the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships 2013 , she failed in the first round.

In 2014 she reached the quarter-finals in the singles at the Fresh Start Women's Open 2014 and stood with her partner Keri Wong in the double-finals, which they lost 6: 3, 2: 6, [10:12]. At the Legacy Credit Union Women's $ 25,000 Pro Circuit Challenger 2014 they defeated Dia Evtimowa and Ilona Kremen 1: 6, 6: 4 and [10: 7] in the final .

At the Dow Corning Tennis Classic 2015 , Lao reached the main draw via qualification; she lost there in the first round to Sessil Karatancheva with 2: 6 and 2: 6. In doubles, she reached the quarterfinals in doubles with Lauren Albanese , in which they were defeated by their compatriots Jan Abaza and Sanaz Marand with 3: 6 and 3: 6.
