Brooke Austin (born February 12, 1996 in Indianapolis ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Brooke Austin, who prefers hard courts according to the ITF profile, started playing tennis when she was six. She mainly plays in tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit , in which she has so far won one singles and two doubles.

She received a wildcard for qualifying for the US Open 2012 ; she won her first game, but was eliminated in the next round. In 2013 she reached two finals at ITF tournaments, both of which she lost. For qualifying for the US Open in 2013, she again received a wildcard, but was eliminated in round one. In 2014 she started at the Dow Corning Tennis Classic 2014 , where she also lost her first round match. In May 2014, she won her first individual title in Sumter .

At the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships 2015 she failed, seeded number three, in the first round. At the $ 25,000 tournament in Baton Rouge she reached the final, which she lost 5-7, 3-6. She also reached the final at the $ 50,000 tournament in Sacramento , where she lost to Anhelina Kalinina 5: 7 and 1: 6.

For the main field of the women's doubles at the US Open 2016 she received a wildcard with Kourtney Keegan , but the double lost in the first round against Asia Muhammad and Taylor Townsend 2: 6 and 2: 6. At the subsequent American Collegiate Invitational 2016 , she also failed in the first round against Breaunna Addison .

Since the end of August 2017 Brooke Austin is no longer in the world rankings.
