The South African Fed Cup team is the national tennis team of South Africa that is used in the Fed Cup . The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, analogous to the Davis Cup for men.

South Africa took part in the Fed Cup for the first time in 1963. The greatest success was the victory in 1972 .
