Amanda Coetzer  [ aˈmanda ˈkuʦəɾ October 22,   1971  in Hoopstad  ) is a former South African   tennis player  .
Career Most tennis fans will remember Coetzer as Steffi Graf's  “fear opponent” . In 1997 alone she was able to inflict three defeats on the German, including the highest defeat in the Brühler's career: 0: 6, 1: 6, Graf lost to the South African in the quarter-finals of the German Open in Berlin  . In 1997, Coetzer also achieved her personal best in the WTA world rankings  with third place .
She won nine singles and nine doubles titles on the WTA Tour  in her career .
In 2000, she won the Hopman Cup  for South Africa alongside Wayne Ferreira  . In June 2004 she ended her professional career.
 
Amanda Coetzer is married to the Israeli billionaire and film producer Arnon Milchan  .
