Wang Shi-ting ( Chinese  王 思婷 ; born October 19, 1973 in Tainan ) is a former Taiwanese tennis player .

Career

As a junior, she won the French Open in 1989 in doubles.

During her professional career, she won six tournaments on the WTA Tour .

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta she took part in the individual competition, where she lost in the second round to Mary Joe Fernández 6: 7 4 , 6: 2 and 1: 6.

Of her 76 appearances for the Taiwanese Fed Cup team , which she had between 1998 and 2000, she won 51 games. She has been their team leader since 2006.
